Each woman responds very differently to the major physical and emotional changes of pregnancy. Some women may feel extremely well during their pregnancy and are able to maintain a high level of physical activity. Other women may develop health concerns or feel debilitated. In any circumstance massage can fulfil a very important role in supporting a woman before, during and after a pregnancy.

Kathryn’s qualification in pregnancy massage allows her to treat women from the first trimester. As well as having had 3 children of her own, she has also trained as a doula, and for a while volunteered on the maternity ward of her local hospital as a breast feeding peer supporter. Consequently her understanding and skill in working with women around pregnancy is wide and experienced.

"I saw Kathryn from 20 weeks pregnant as I had hip pain and was finding it hard to walk. Through regular appointments I had great mobility and no pain. The treatments helped me to understand and adapt to my changing body and gave me the grounding to have a relaxed birth.

I would highly recommend for people who find pregnancy hard and want to remain active and engaged during those months.
